GOLDEN FILM FEST 2012 SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Submissions must be received by March 9, 2012  March 18, 2012.

  •  The Golden Film Fest is free to enter. If your film is selected for screening you will be notified and will receive one ticket to attend.
  • An admission fee will be charged to the general public and all proceeds will go to The Gentlemen’s Leisure Club of Golden.
  • The acceptable method for film submissions is via online file transfer; www.wetransfer.com allows up to 2Gigs free. We prefer quicktime .MOV files compressed using H.264.  You will have to provide a link and password to your file along with your completed submission form.
  • Transfer or e-mail your submissions to gentlemensclubofgolden@gmail.com along with this entry form, and the subject heading reading “GFF_COMPLETE_FILM_SUBMISSION_(your name).”
  • Your submission must contain a completed copy of this form, which you may also provide electronically via e-mail with notice of your file transfer. Please sign and scan the form to be e-mailed.
  • Film Categories are based on running time (intro to end of credits). A “Best Film” will be awarded for each category. Additional prizes will be awarded for other criteria (comedy, documentary, etc.).

Rules and Regulations:

  •  Films of any subject, genre, and duration will be considered. There is no restriction on completion date, however, films that have previously enjoyed a healthy amount of screen time, either on the web or otherwise, are less likely to be selected than the undiscovered gems we are mining for.
  • Please choose the competitive category that best suits your film. It remains at the programmers’ discretion to change the submission category of a film if it is better suited for another than the one selected.
  • Films must be submitted electronically. No DVDs, BluRays or VHS will be accepted.
  • Films may only be entered in one category with the exception of Youth films. Youth films will be entered under the standard categories but will also be eligible for Best Youth Film as well.
  • All efforts, images and sounds must be credited in the film.
  • All films must be clear of copyright issues: i.e. music clearances, third party footage, personal releases for use of image, voice, likeness, etc.
  • Films containing defamatory or offensive material are not eligible.

Film Categories:

  • Feature Film (45 minutes or longer)
  • Medium Length Film (10-30 min)
  • Short Film (Less than 8 minutes)
  • Youth Class
